Things You Might Bring

 
    If you just arrived with the means to sleep warm and dry and enough clothes and footwear to cope with whatever weather, then you would make out alright. But you may want to consider any of the following items. Bear in mind that these are memory joggers for you to consider. There are many items that not everyone needs to bring.

Camping Gear

Tent, poles pegs and mallet

Warm bedding

Hot water bottles

Ground sheets

Chairs

Lamps and torches

Water container

Saw and axe

Matches and fire lighters

Musical instruments and songs and music sheets

Poems, stories and books

Clothing - for every kind of weather

Clothing - for dressing up & partying

Wellies or waterproof boots are vital if it is at all wet

Macs, cagoules, umbrellas.

Towels, First Aid and ear plugs

Sun hats, sun cream and sunglasses

 
Cooking equipment and cutlery

Usually campers bring enough basic cooking and eating kit to cover their needs. There are some very large pots and pans as part of the field's resource - as well as some basic cutlery and crockery.

Toasting rack

Tea or coffee pot

Pans

Trivet

Chopping knives and board

Tin and bottle opener

Corkscrew

 

Food - for basic needs and treats

Aylsham has most things available and is a short drive away. Campers often share trips in, or get things for each other.
